ActiveAuthorizing Certain Transactions Related to Personal Maintenance of Individuals Who Are U.S. Persons Residing in Venezuela
Summary
General License No. 32 authorizes U.S. persons residing in Venezuela to engage in transactions with the Government of Venezuela that are ordinarily incident and necessary to their personal maintenance within Venezuela. Covered transactions include paying housing expenses, acquiring goods or services for personal use, paying taxes or fees, and purchasing or receiving permits, licenses, or public utility services. This authorization applies specifically to transactions that would otherwise be prohibited by the Executive Order of August 5, 2019 blocking property of the Government of Venezuela.

Conditions
This license does not authorize any transaction or dealing otherwise prohibited by the E.O. of August 5, 2019, E.O. 13850, E.O. 13835, E.O. 13827, E.O. 13808, or E.O. 13692 (each as amended by E.O. 13857), or any part of 31 C.F.R. chapter V. It also does not authorize any transactions or dealings with any blocked person other than the Government of Venezuela in the context of the personal maintenance activities described in paragraph (a).
