Summary

General License F authorizes the importation of Iranian-origin services into the United States and the exportation or reexportation of services from the United States or by a U.S. person related to professional and amateur sporting activities and exchanges involving the United States and Iran. Covered activities include exhibition matches and events, sponsorship of players, coaching, refereeing, and training. U.S. depository institutions and registered brokers or dealers in securities may process fund transfers in furtherance of these authorized activities, consistent with 31 C.F.R. § 560.516.

• Processing of fund transfers by U.S. depository institutions or U.S. registered brokers or dealers in securities in furtherance of authorized activities (consistent with 31 C.F.R. § 560.516)

Conditions

This license does not authorize exportation or reexportation of covered services to any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to any part of 31 C.F.R. chapter V other than part 560. It also does not authorize any transaction by a U.S.-owned or -controlled foreign entity otherwise prohibited by 31 C.F.R. § 560.215 if the transaction would be prohibited by any other part of chapter V if engaged in by a U.S. person or in the United States. Fund transfers must be consistent with 31 C.F.R. § 560.516.
